EVENT RULES

The Marketplace Mash-up 2025

ALL VENDORS APPLICATIONS DUE April 23, 2025


1. Event Times. The Event will be held from Saturday May 3rd, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. Vendors will not leave the event early on event day without the prior consent of G Designs Co. LLC

2. Set-up. Set up times are Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 between 6:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. All Vendors must be finished setting up and ready for the Event at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday May 3rd, 2025.

3. Break down/Clean up. Vendors must remove all personal property no later than 9:00p.m. on Saturday, May 3rd , 2025

4. Parking. Vendors may park only on the furthest side of the school parking lot due to allowing customers to be able to park closer to event booths.

5. Booth Reservation. Booths are available on a “first come, first serve” basis.

6. Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi will be NOT available at the Event. So please make sure you have adequate cell service for internet needed.

7. If any items are sold at an event, a City of Montrose sales tax license is required in accordance with the Official Municipal Code of the City of Montrose and the laws of the State of Colorado.  Please contact the City Sales Tax Department at (970)-240-1465 to obtain a City Sales Tax License.   *City sales tax license holders must maintain proper books and records of sales that may be subject to inspection and audits as applicable.  (Municipal Code Section 5-15)

Additional permits may be required depending on the components of your event.  Applicants and/or vendors or responsible for complying with the terms of these licenses and permits.

RULES & REGULATIONS APPLICATION INFORMATION


Please read through all the items listed below carefully. Applicants MUST initial, sign and date at the end and agree to ALL in order to be considered for The Marketplace Mash-up.
Booth space - allotment and placement: I understand that:

The 2025 Marketplace Mash-up WILL BE A "Juried Show" ensuring that all participants meet a high standard of quality and creativity. Each submission is carefully reviewed by host business G Designs Co. to select the most exceptional and innovative entries. This process guarantees an inspiring showcase of talent and artistry, providing attendees with a curated experience of outstanding work. If I am not accepted, my fees will be returned to me in full. Booth space is granted on a first come, first served basis. I may request a specific location, however the space I request cannot be guaranteed. All assigned vendor spaces are final and cannot be changed. WE WILL NOT SWITCH VENDORS AROUND!

All sales items require pre-approval and I understand that I may only sell items that have been pre-approved by G Designs Co. LLC and if not, my booth may be shut down, vendor booth space fee will NOT be refunded, and I may lose the privilege of participating in future events.


Electrical access: There is no electricity at the location of the event.  If you need electricity you must provide that yourself either with a quiet generator or a batter pack. 

Sales tax - State of Colorado/City of Montrose: I understand that I am responsible for paying all applicable taxes to the State of Colorado and the City of Montrose and that G Designs Co. LLC will provide the State of Colorado with a list of all vendors registered to participate in The Marketplace Mash-up 2025. I will have my Special Event Sales Tax license with me at the event.

(Disclaimer) (If you choose to not get a City Sales Tax License, G Designs Co. LLC will collect sales tax at the end of the show and submit, If you do not pay and it was of knowledge that your business did not have a license than the city of Montrose will be notified)

Booth info, decorations, shade awnings, "guy wires" & trailer tongues: I understand that decorating my booth is encouraged and that my decorations, shade awnings, "guy wires," and trailer tongues may only extend no more than one (1) foot beyond my assigned space. Booth set up is Saturday, May 3rd beginning at 6:00 AM and completed by 9:45 AM. I understand I am allowed 30 minutes of unloading time and no vehicles are allowed on the grass. PLEASE BE AWARE OF TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AND ARRIVE ON TIME.

Booth photos: I have submitted photos of my booth with my application. Please submit at least three images two of products and one of your booth setup. Upload here.

Photo Release: I agree to waive any/all rights to any photos or images taken of me and my booth during the 2025 Marketplace Mash-up. I understand that the G Designs Co. LLC may use these photos for promotional purposes.

Pets: I understand NO PETS are allowed on event grounds unless they are a registered service animal.

Alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, and laser lights: I understand that under no circumstances are the following items to be sold at the 2025 Marketplace Mash-up: alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, or laser lights. NO SMOKING ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS.

Refunds: I understand that I will receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, for canceling before April 23rd, 2025, and after that date there will be NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Payment: I will submit my payment in full at time of application via online platform check out system.  Once you fill out application than the payment option will be at the end. 

I hereby apply for booth rental at the 2025 The Marketplace Mash-up. I have read this packet in its entirety and understand all provisions. I understand and comply with the conditions set forth and agree to the rules and regulations of the 2025 The Marketplace Mash-up and the codes and laws of the City of Montrose. I understand I will be immediately removed from The Marketplace Mash-up without a refund if I violate any rules or regulations. I release and hold harmless The G Designs Co., the 2025 Marketplace Mash-up, the City of Montrose and associated entities from all liability including, but not limited to, theft, personal injury, death to persons, or damage to property resulting from acts or omissions by any vendor, its agents or employees, and natural disaster. I understand that this application does not guarantee a space at the Mash-up and that my money will be refunded if not selected. I understand that acceptance to the event does not guarantee minimum sales.

Filling out a vendor sign up form confirms that I HAVE READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS AND UNDERSTAND THEM CLEARLY.
